Throughout the test, the most effective mosquito repellents were spray-on products. The most effective ingredients used in these spray-on products were DEET and PMD, or lemon eucalyptus oil. This conclusion has commonly been found in previous studies and further promotes the belief they are most effective in mosquito repellence.
